BBRS Registration Now Open!

BBRS starts September 10! And it is open to non-CBI members as well! If you
have not yet registered, or have friends/neighbors who might be interested,

CBI Preschool News!
Need more childcare hours? We now have you covered until 6:00 pm Mondays
-Thursdays! We are thrilled that CBIP is now open 8:00 am to 6:00 pm (until
4:00 pm on Fridays).

Plus, we have added a new program for children approximately 16 months and
up! We are thrilled to offer a new class for children whose birthdays are
between September 30, 2021 and May 1, 2022. This is an opportunity for our
youngest learners to enjoy a morning of engaging activities designed to
encourage age-appropriate social, cognitive, and physical development.
Classes meet five days a week from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM; families may choose
for children to attend three, four, or five days. For more information,

A traditional catered dinner with roast chicken and all the trimmings.  Eat,
relax, and schmooze with your CBI friends. Kid-friendly, vegetarian, vegan

Shabbat Dinner.

This Week's Tip from.

The CBI Alliance for Sustainability

While our posts have always had suggestions for you to help you lessen your
impact on the environment, today we pivot and give a shout out to the New
Jersey American Water Company.  Back in January, they installed solar panels
on the surface of the reservoir at their Canoe Brook Water Treatment Plant
here in Millburn. The 16,510 acres of floating solar panels provide 95% of
the power needed by this water treatment plant as it produces 14 million
gallons of clean drinking water every day.  It is the largest floating solar
array in all of North America!!  To learn more about this awesome clean

Get involved! 

In response to the increasing challenges facing the environment, it's time
for CBI to do its part to preserve and protect the natural world. We'll be
focusing on environmental sustainability through a Jewish lens, exploring
how essential Jewish teachings can inform our pursuit of a healthy and just
world. We hope to involve all members of the CBI community from preschoolers
to seniors. We'll be evaluating what we can do as a community and as
individuals to integrate a commitment to sustainability into our lives, in
order to be true partners in the ongoing work of Tikkun Olam. We invite you
to be part of it!
