Chants of Light

Holy Writ Gets Lit!

Sunday, December 15 at 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel

Join our chanting circle as we mark the approach of the winter solstice. Our
chants and songs on the theme of Light will chase the darkness away and
bring in joy, warmth and delight! And with words taken from the Hebrew Bible
you will also gain new insight! All with light musical accompaniment to our
singing and chanting.

The intention of chanting is to awaken the divine in our hearts. It can
soothe the mind and at the very least is simply fun to do! No prior
knowledge of Hebrew or singing ability necessary
 only a willingness to
join in spiritual community.
