Film Screening of Maiden

THIS Thursday, December 5 // Lunch begins at 12:30 p.m. Program begins at
1:00 p.m.

In 1989, Tracy Edwards and her all-female crew participated in the Whitbread
Round the World Race (a virtually all-male sport) and challenge the open
ocean, and a sea of presumptions, to prove that women can sail -- and take
their lives in their hands -- just as crazily as men. Not only is it an epic
tale about women waging war against Mother Nature, two members of the team
videotaped the entire trip!

The cost is $10 for Adult Forum members & partners // $12 for community
participants

No charge if only attending program.
