This Shabbat at CBI

Friday Evening, November 22

6:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary

Shir Shabbat Service

This early service is a traditional Friday night service with upbeat
singing, led with our clergy and children together. Children are invited to
participate in leading prayers. Come as a family and experience what Shir
Shabbat is all about . singing, prayer and spirit! This is the only service
of the evening.

Saturday Morning, November 23

10:45 a.m. in the School Wing

Shabbat Journeyers' Minyan

SJM returns this week for more Shabbat morning learning! Jonathan Engel will
be leading a discussion on the multiple facets of G-d titled: "El vs. Ya:
Polytheism in Breishit or Who Wrote This Thing, Anyway?" Join us for what we
are sure will be a very informative and stimulating session.

An Update on Anti-Semitism in America Today

Several CBI congregants and Rabbi Resnick are attending

Anti-Semitism and Hate this week in NYC. Come hear the latest updates about
anti-semitism in America today as they share their experience from the day
of learning. This will take place at 12:45, after Kiddush.

Our Better Together intergenerational program is off to a wonderful start! 

The project is part of the "Better Together" program made possible by a
grant from the Legacy Heritage Fund, an initiative that encourages teens and
senior citizens to l'dor v'dor Jewish relationships. The nationwide program
aims to help teens foster their own Jewish identities while connecting them
with living history, creating a space in which an oral tradition can bring
people together.
