[CBI] Welcome Message from Rabbi Paul Resnick

Dear Kehillat CBI - The CBI Community, 

I am very excited to be your interim rabbi for this year. I am happy and
encouraged that I have already spent time and/or connected with Mariella,
Cantor Wallach, Rabbi Julie, Harvey and Rochelle and other members of the
CBI's leadership. 

I started my first day, TODAY, at Shacharit - Morning Minyan.  

I am humbled to come into such an involved and dynamic, great kehilla -
community. CBI has a long history. CBI has meaningful prayer experiences.
CBI is a heimish place. CBI supports Israel. CBI is involved with hesed -
acts of loving kindness. CBI reaches out to the community.  

Here is what you can expect from me. I bring my passion for Judaism to each
of you in as many ways as possible. I believe strongly that each of us can
create a personal and engaging relationship with God and Judaism. There is
no one path for everyone. I think that CBI has many opportunities for
positive engagement.  

I hope to get to know as many of you as possible. I want to learn your
story. I want to learn who you are. Why you are involved with CBI. Or
perhaps, why you are not involved with CBI. Why you might want to get more
involved. There seems to be much passion for CBI. I want to help you
cultivate that to make this a wonderful year for all of us.

Here are several ways that we can meet and start on this journey of
engagement. I ask you to review the following MEET & GREET opportunities
offered at various venues and different times over the next several weeks:

Coffee, Tea & The Rabbi 

*	Squirrel & The Bee at 9:45 a.m. on Monday, August 5th, Monday,
August 12th or Thursday, August 22nd
*	Liv Breads at 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, August 6th or Monday, September
9th

Berries, Yogurt & The Rabbi

*	In my CBI study after Shacharit - Morning Minyan at 8:15 a.m. on
Monday, August 19th or Thursday, September 12th

Wine, Chocolate & The Rabbi

*	In my CBI study before Maariv - Evening Minyan at 7:00 p.m. on
Tuesday, August 6th, Tuesday, August 13th or Tuesday, September 3rd.

Each of these sessions is set for five folks so I can get to know you. To

I am here for each and every one of you. If you come to the shul every week,
