it would still be extremely helpful and affirm a caring principle of our CBI

Rabbi Paul Resnick

Interim Rabbi



   

The Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that 

Rabbi Paul F. Resnick will be our Interim Rabbi for the coming year.

Many of you may know Rabbi Resnick because of his 30+ year tenure at Camp
Ramah in the Berkshires where he served as Camp Director and most recently,
Senior Engagement and Planning Director.

Rabbi Resnick is excited to be joining our congregation and will officially
begin on August 1, 2019. You can meet Rabbi Resnick at our

Rabbi Julie Schwarzwald

Director of Congregational Learning



The Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that 

Rabbi Julie Schwarzwaldwill be our Director of Congregational Learning,
leading our Blanche Bayar Religious School and coordinating all areas of
lifelong learning and family engagement at CBI.

Rabbi Julie was an elementary school teacher at private and public schools,
including 12 years at Schechter Cranford and then Golda Och Academy. For the
past five years, she has been a synagogue education director, first at East
Brunswick Jewish Center and most recently Adath Shalom in Morris Plains.

Rabbi Julie is eager to bring her experiences and ideas to BBRS and CBI and
will officially begin on August 1, 2019. You can meet Rabbi Julie at our

Morning Minyan

Sunday – 8:00 a.m.

The morning service runs about an hour; the evening service is just 15

community fundraising event with four amazing routes for cyclists of all
skill levels. Plus – Family Fun Day Activities!

Proceeds make it possible for more children across Greater MetroWest NJ to
have the life-changing experience of attending Jewish summer camp.Studies
show that summers spent at Jewish camp empower Jewish young people to become
spirited and engaged Jewish adults, thereby laying the groundwork for
strong, vibrant Jewish communities for future generations.
