Special at Shul - This Weekend!

 

SHIR SHABBAT SERVICE

This Friday, December 12 at 6:45 p.m.

Shir Shabbat -- Hebrew for Shabbat Song - is a complete Friday night service
with tunes synced with prayers learned in Blanche Bayar Religious School and
Golda Och Academy.

Families are encouraged to take an active part in helping lead prayers and
choosing favorite melodies.

Traditional Kabbalat Shabbat Service will still take place at 8:15 p.m. 

 

CBI Chanting Circle

This Sunday, December 14 at 5:00 p.m.

Join us in the Chapel as we mark the approach of Chanukah and tekufat Tevet,
the winter solstice.  
Our chants and songs on the theme of Light will chase the darkness away and
bring in joy and warmth!

Be prepared to sing your heart open and see your spirit soar!   
No prior knowledge of Hebrew or singing ability necessary.only a willingness
to join in spiritual community.
