Israel Affairs Committee Update

Community Events

There are two Israel events occurring within the next week which may be of
interest to the CBI community:

 

n  Daniel Gordis, renowned expert and influential writer on Israel, will
speak on "The Upheaval of 2014: What it Means for Israel's Future."  The
speech is sponsored by AJC (American Jewish Committee) and will be held this
Wednesday night, November 19 at 7:30 p.m. at Congregation B'nai Jeshurun
(1025 South Orange Avenue, Short Hills). The event is free and open to the

n  The Israel Support Committee of Central New Jersey is sponsoring a
showing of the new film "Body and Soul" at the Central NJ JCC in Scotch
Plains (1391 Martine Avenue) on Sunday, November 23 at 11:00 a.m. The film
explores the historical connection of Jews to the Land of Israel. For more
