Do American Jews Have a Future?

The Jewish community is at a crossroads: 48% of American Jews are
unaffiliated.

Over 80% intermarry and only 8% of the children of intermarried couples
identify as Jews.

Fewer and fewer Jews have any interest in Jewish tradition or the Jewish
community.

There must be another way.

JTS Chancellor Eisen will propose a new vision for building a rich,
inspiring, and vibrant Jewish future in America.

Mitzvah Day is a wonderful opportunity to learn about and support various
charitable groups and organizations in our community and Israel. This
community-wide event is open to all. There will be a "hands-on" mitzvah for
everyone!
