This special service of forgiveness includes prayers and poems to help set
the tone

for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.

A wonderful musical transition from the old year to the new year!

Bring your Shofar and "join the band" for a special song!

The Great Shofar Blowout is Here!

This Sunday, September 21

Festivities Begin at 9:00 a.m. through 12:30 p.m.

 

Join CBI this Sunday morning - the weather is supposed to be great!!!

Look for the CBI banner with CBI President Andrea Hirschfeld, Cantor Lorna
Wallach and Rabbi Helene Kornsgold!

 

Based on everything we are hearing, it looks like history will be made and a
new Guinness World Record for Largest Shofar Blowing Ensemble will be
established.

.but a few dozen more Shofar blowers would be great!!!

This free festive event is taking place at The Partnership for Jewish
Learning and Life (901 Route 10 in Whippany) and will include music,
hands-on activities, music, arts & crafts, food, and so much more!!!

 

YOU CAN STILL JOIN THE FUN!

Pre-registering <http://www.thepartnershipnj.org/shofar>  is preferred but
walk-ins with Shofars are welcome!

CBI High Holiday Chanting Circle

This Sunday Sept. 21st at 5:00 p.m.  

Join us in the Chapel as we raise our voices in chant and song to
inspirational verses from the High Holiday liturgy with musical
accompaniment. 

Be prepared to sing your heart open and soothe your mind.  

No prior knowledge of Hebrew or singing ability necessary, only a
willingness to explore spiritual community.

Themes and Values for the Home

with Rabbi Steven Bayar

Select Monday and Thursday evenings (7:30 - 9:00 p.m.)

 

A series of evening classes held just prior to select holidays throughout
the year.

These classes are designed to introduce the themes, observances and values
associated with each holiday.

The classes are designed to be hands-on, to impart skills at observing and
to provide topics for discussion around the holiday tables.

Attend all sessions.or just the specific classes that most interest you.

Suitable for all levels of learning and observance.
