[CBI] Israel trips 2015

Dear Friends:

 

Support for Israel can be shown in many ways. One of the best ways to show
support is to travel to Israel and be part of the experience.  And, one of
the best ways to experience Israel is to do so with family and CBI friends!
We are in the final stages of planning congregational Israel trips for 2015.
At this point, we ask your action on the following two possible trips:

 

February 2015 - Israel

This trip (around President's week) is for both first time and veteran
travelers of all ages. Participants will decide if they are interested in a
southern itinerary (possibly including Petra as well) or a northern
itinerary (with possibilities in the Golan). Jerusalem and Tel Aviv would be
part of either route.  We can certainly include Bar/Bat Mitzvah ceremony
(adult or child), if there is interest.

 

At this time, we have 15 participants for a February departure. In order to
run the trip we need a minimum of 20. If you are at all interested, please
let us know as soon as possible. We must make a decision on this trip by Yom
Kippur.

 

August 2015 - March of the Living

We will begin the trip in Poland, traveling and touring concentration camps
and then continue the journey in Israel. As always, participants will be
able to help determine the scope and places to tour.  We will be holding our
first planning meeting after Yom Kippur.  Come and learn!

 

We currently have enough interest to plan this trip. If you have not
indicated your interest yet, please let us know so that we can include you
in future mailings.

 

These trips are open to non-members of the congregation as well.  Tell your
