ISRAEL UPDATE

IDF Support Initiatives

 

 

 

SEND A "THANK YOU" TO THE IDF SOLDIERS

 

Send a personal note to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Soldiers - thanking
them and supporting all of their efforts and courageous acts to protect
Israel.

 

WHEN:  This Wednesday, July 30

TIME:  7:00 - 8:30 p.m.

WHERE:  CBI

HOSTED BY: Rayna and Hallie Katzman

 

Donations are welcome and will be shared with Men's Club and Sisterhood's
fundraising efforts to demonstrate our solidarity and support of the IDF
(see below).

 

Letters will be given to our contact at Friends of the Israel Defense Forces
and sent to IDF soldiers in Israel.

 

If you can't make it this Wednesday, join us at the CBI Summer BBQ on
Thursday, August 7.we will have a table with note paper and additional
information and you can write a note and make a donation!

 

The IDF Soldiers are doing their job to look after Israel; as a community,
let's do our job and come together to look after them.

 

 

 

IDF SUPPORT INITIATIVE

 

Please donate to the Men's Club/Sisterhood Drive to support soldiers in the
IDF.

 

We are asking that you send a donation, payable to the "CBI Men's Club," so
that we can purchase food and/or supplies (Shabbat meals, clothing, toiletry
kits, etc.) for the Israeli soldiers on the front lines through one or more
reputable charities that have operational offices in Israel and can quickly
facilitate the purchase and delivery of these goods.   

 

Please send in or drop off your donations at the synagogue office as soon as
you can.

Make checks payable to CBI Men's Club. (Please include in memo area of check
"CBI Soldier Drive.")
