Torah Portion: Pinchas
            In this portion Pinchas, the son of Elazar the Kohen, saves
Moses from the final rebellion against his authority.  

As a reward, Pinchas is rewarded with the High Priesthood (Kohen Gadol) for
him and his family forever.  

This portion also teaches us about the holiday sacrifices.
