Torah Portion: Balak
Balak, king of Moab, realizing the futility of fighting the Israelites in
battle, contacts Bilaam, a non-Jewish prophet.  

He asks Bilaam to curse Israel, hoping that this will finally stop their
advance towards the Promised Land.  The stratagem fails.

The class is dedicated to the three murdered Israeli teens, Gilad, Naftali
and Eyal.
