This portion continues the laws of sacrifices and concludes with lists of
animals that are "kosher" to eat and lists of animals that are not kosher to
eat.  

One incident occurs; Aaron's two eldest sons are killed for bringing an
"alien fire" to God.

CBI is 90 and we will celebrate!

In 1924, a small minyan that met above Buncher's Hardware on Millburn Avenue
incorporated to become what is now Congregation B'nai Israel.

That small minyan moved into their first building on Lackawana in 1925.

Be part of the celebration! Millburn's first synagogue -- at home for 90

The Men's Club of Congregation B'nai Israel for many years

has participated in a local softball league,

competing against other Men's Clubs in the area.

 

Now is your chance to join in the fun!

We are looking for new teammates to power our lineup

and anchor our defense!

Games are casual.

with just enough competiveness to make it fun and worthwhile!

 

Games are Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m.

from April 13 through July 13 (plus playoffs).

Meet at 9:30 to warm up and take batting practice.

 

It is not necessary to come to every game.but the more the better!

Szold, the Zionist founder of Hadassah.

 

May 20th at CBI 

Hirschhorn presenter Alvin Billings will discuss The Rothschilds: Bankers to
Europe's Kings.

 

 

TRIP

 

May 1st 

with JCC of Central New Jersey to the Paper Mill Playhouse to see South
Pacific. 

South Pacific is a story of love and romance set on a lush tropical island
during WW II. 

Transportation on your own, seats mid to back section A Center Orchestra.  

Member $70, Community Participant $75.
